WWE adds the expected to Money in the Bank go home shows

WWE.com

The fields for the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches at next Sunday (June 18)’s Money in the Bank PPV are set.

You knew we’d be getting some segments on the go home episodes of Raw and SmackDown where several of the entrants will tussle, probably ending with one of them sitting atop a ladder to make a statement about how they’re a big threat to win the briefcase in Fort Worth.

Momentum doesn’t just build itself, you know.

Raw’s card for July 12 was already announced (and the show already taped, as WWE is packing up ThunderDome as we speak as they get ready to head back out on the road). But they added a non-title rematch between Xavier Woods and WWE champ Bobby Lashley that will put the finishing touches on the build to Kofi Kingston’s title shot at Money in the Bank. And they added a 4Way between the Raw brand women who’ve qualified for the battle for the briefcase - Asuka, Nikki Cross, Alexa Bliss & Naomi.

Here’s an updated look at Monday’s line-up:

- Bobby Lashley vs. Xavier Woods (non-title)

- Sheamus (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo for the United States championship

- Ricochet vs. John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere match

- Asuka vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki ASH

- AJ Styles vs. Ivar

- Omos vs. Erik

On the July 16 SmackDown, WWE’s first show in a non-TDome venue with fans since WrestleMania, we already knew we’d be getting the re-booked and re-scheduled SmackDown Women’s title match. The blue brand men will also get a chance to make their case as favorites to win the case.

An early look at that card:

- Bianca Belair (c) vs. Carmella for the SmackDown Women’s title

- Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins vs. Big E vs. King Nakamura

Sound like a good way to get ready for Money in the Bank?
