NXT’s numbers have never been worse on Tuesdays

Per Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, this week’s (June 29) episode of NXT brought in an hourly average of 636,000 viewers, with a 0.13 rating in the key 18 to 49 year old demographic. These are both all-time low marks for NXT since the show moved to Tuesdays. This is just how things are for pro wrestling while the NBA playoffs continue to dominate the television landscape.

This week’s NXT episode was the go-home show for the Great American Bash, and included Bronson Reed dropping the North American championship. Perhaps the GAB will help NXT’s numbers bounce back next week, though the biggest factor will likely come down to whether or not NXT has to deal with competition from the NBA Finals.

Here’s a look at the black-and-gold brand’s viewership and 18 - 49 year old demo rating since they moved to Tuesdays after WrestleMania 37.
