Earlier today, rumors were abound that a former WWE wrestler would debut in Impact via vignette. That rumor proved to be true when a whiskey drinking, jazz swinging scene aired on Impact Wrestling tonight (June 3, 2021).
Introducing Maclin.

Maclin went by Steve Cutler in WWE as part of the Forgotten Sons stable with Jaxson Ryker and Wesley Blake. WWE released Cutler in February. Apparently, his wrestling career was not decorated enough to warrant a Wikipedia page. His name redirects to Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo’s page as her boyfriend.
Maclin’s vignette has interesting imagery and choice of song. Impact usually adds little details for a reason, but I have no clue why Jameson was featured so heavily or the deal with that swinging tune. The easy guess would be just a celebration to signing an Impact contract. One thing is clear though. With that roar at the end, Maclin is ready to kick butt.
Maclin’s career can only go up from here. And maybe he can finally earn a Wikipedia page of his own.
Are you excited to see Steve Cutler in the Impact Zone? What’s your interpretation of Maclin’s vignette? Did you notice any Easter eggs? What matches do you want to see for Maclin in Impact?
