It was quite the adventure to get to a winner in the last chance Money in the Bank qualifier on Monday Night Raw this week.
The show opened with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville informing us that Randy Orton would not be in the match as scheduled, and a battle royal was held to determine who would replace him. Riddle talked them into allowing him to hop into said battle royal and if he won, he would go on to the triple threat later in the evening as a proxy for his tag team partner.
Later, he fought hard in that triple threat until a spot where he slammed his bare foot into the stairs and he was led out by medical personnel, lamenting letting down Orton the whole way. Of course, he made his way back out and appeared to have the match won after an RKO to AJ Styles.
Until Omos pulled his partner out and McIntyre capitalized with a Claymore that scored the pinfall and booked his spot alongside Ricochet, John Morrison, Riddle, and Big E in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match on July 18, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas.
