John Cena is busy promoting Fast and Furious 9, which is set to premiere this weekend in the United States.

Given The Rock’s history with that movie franchise, as well as his history with Cena inside the wrestling ring, it’s only natural to wonder if the two stars will one day clash on the big screen.

In an interview with Complex, Cena expressed strong interest in doing just that:

“So, as somebody who enjoys entertainment, I think...I’m immediately intrigued. I feel as if that would be entertaining. There’s a lot more than my opinion that’s gonna have to work to connect those dots, but I think it would be entertaining. So, I mean, I’m in.

But we’ll see. Nowadays, we are truly in a wonderful surge of entertainment. There’s a lot of content out there. There’s content consistently being made. My point is, people are busy. And then you take someone like Dwayne, who is in his own universe. He is so busy, and with such quality projects. It would take a lot of the stars lining up. It may be...too complex. I don’t know, but man, it sounds entertaining.”

The idea of the two former top WWE stars working together on Hollywood magic had one fan suggest that Dave Bautista should also join up for this hypothetical future project. But as longtime wrestling fans know, Batista is a man who walks alone. He didn’t hesitate to shut that idea down:

Damn, Dave. That’s cold.

What do you make of Batista’s response? Let us know in the comments below what your interest level is in a future movie starring some combination of The Rock, John Cena, and Batista.
