The Diamond Mine’s debut on NXT was no match for the NBA playoffs

WWE.com

Per F4WOnline, this week’s (June 22) episode of NXT brought in an hourly average of 665,000 viewers, with a 0.17 rating in the key 18 to 49 year old demographic.

The viewership number is technically the lowest mark so far of the Tuesday night era in NXT, though it’s virtually the same result as the June 1 and June 8 episodes.

NXT teased the opening of the Diamond Mine on this episode, with the big reveal saved for the very end of the episode. But there’s just no way pro wrestling can match up with Suns vs. Clippers in the NBA playoffs.

Here’s a look at the black-and-gold brand’s viewership and 18 - 49 year old demo rating since they moved to Tuesdays after WrestleMania 37.
