WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 results, live streaming match coverage

WWE Hell in a Cell is all set to pop off tonight (Sun., June 20, 2021) from the ThunderDome inside Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida at 7:00 pm ET, live on Peacock and WWE Network. You may also be able to watch this on pay-per-view (PPV) if your cable or satellite provider is carrying the event.

WWE HELL IN A CELL LIVE BLOG & MATCH COVERAGE

I got a certain little girl she’s on my mind, no doubt about it she looks so fine. She’s the best girl that I ever had, and she’s sitting about three feet to the left of me while I liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The pre-show panel tonight consists of Kayla Braxton, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Jerry “the King” Lawler, and Peter Rosenberg, and they do the usual preshow business.

Mandy Rose vs. Natalya

Natalya with a headlock takeover, Rose reverses to a headscissors, side headlock of her own, takeover, reversal to the headscissors and we stalemate. Collar and elbow, Nattie with an arm wringer, reversed, reversed, sunset flip, only two. Neidhart with a waistlock, back to the mat, headscissor applied, but Mandy rolls out and reverses into a deathlock toehold.

Reversed to a side headlock, reversed, up and over, off the ropes, drop down, drop down, leapfrog, back roll, duck a lariat, schoolboy for two! Fireman’s carry, Nattie slips out, going for an armbar, but Rose hangs her over the top rope! Bodyscissors applied, grinding her down, shifting to a guillotine choke, but Neidhart reverses with a body slam!

Nattie fighting her way back in, Mandy off the top with a missile dropkick! Underhooks applied, Neidhart reverses, inside cradle, no good! Natalya gets a tight two off a lariat, backslide gets Rose two, the big knee... NOT ENOUGH! O’Connor roll for a schoolboy, no finish, Natalya lookins for an armbar, Mandy gets the ropes!

Nattie picks the legs...

Natalya wins by submission with the Sharpshooter.

We go back to the preshow panel to finish things up.


The show proper kicks off with a video of a lady doing an EVIL video address to play into the hell theme before shifting into a music video recap set to the new Ozzy Osbourne song they licensed to be the theme of the show.

Bayley vs. Bianca Belair (c) (WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Hell in a Cell Match)

Belair out the gates with a slam and a lariat and Bayley runs away to the floor for a breather. Back inside, chairs out, Bianca ducks under one, sunset flip, only one! Belair using her braid to block chairshots and then she dropkicks her challenger! Shoulder thrust in the corner, setting her up top, jockeying for position, Bayley smashes her face into the post to knock her down!

Shoulder into the post to follow it, another, working the shoulder over with forearms, kneeling armbar, headed to the floor and Bayley gets the steel steps and slides them into the ring. Stepping on the braid on the steps, into the corner with a knee, tying the champion’s hair on the bottom rope!

Sidestep the charge and Bayley goes hard into the steps! To the floor, and Bayley goes to town on Bianca’s arm, biting her! Kendo stick shots, sunset flip powerbomb into the cage wall! Pulling two sets of taped-together kendo sticks out, Bayley wedges them between the ring frame and the cage wall but Belair fights her off before she can enact her evil plan!

Back in and back out... SPINEBUSTER THROUGH THE KENDO STICKS FROM THE CHAMPION! Back inside, cover for two, Bianca working her over with chairshots, Bayley cuts her off and puts her arm through an opened chair and whacks it into the steel repeatedly! Tying the braid to the chair this time, Belair gets away and folds the chair up before ramming Bayley’s shin with it and untying her hair!

Chop block, this time Bianca ties her own hair around Bayley’s wrist! Shoulder thrusts using her hair for leverage, arm drag, rolling to the floor, she puts Bayley into the cell wall and hammers her with kendo stick shots! Whipping her into the post some more, putting her into the cell over and over until Bayley pulls a ladder out from under the ring and rams her with it!

Back inside, Bayley takes full advantage of the ladder to work Bianca over, sandwiching her in and stepping on it! ROSEPLANT IN THE LADDER BUT BAYLEY HIT HER OWN INJURED KNEE IN THE PROCESS! Trading nearfalls, jockeying for position over a backslide, Belair gets the Glam Slam into the turnbuckles!

Ladder in hand, laying it over Bayley, Bianca goes up top... NO WATER IN THE POOL BUT BELAIR LANDS ON HER FEET AND SHIFTS GEARS TO HIT A SENTON ON THE LADDER! Bayley in agony while Bianca opens it back up, backbreaker rack... KOD ON THE LADDER! IT’S OVER!

Bianca Belair wins by pinfall with KOD on a ladder to retain the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

After a few minutes to cool down, Bianca Belair is interviewed in Gorilla.

She’s stoked to retain her title, but Bayley kicked her butt and she won’t forgive her for that.


We see Montel Vontavious Porter and Bobby Lashley hanging out in their party room with their entourage.

Alexa Bliss appears from her playground to give some background on her match tonight.

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins with a sneak attack before the bell but Cesaro turns it around and they brawl until referee Jessika Carr separates them and we get a bell!

Cesaro in control, back body drop, action to the floor, pressing the attack, back in and up top, diving double axhandle! Smashing Seth into the turnbuckles, right hand, punches in the corner, smashing his face into the turnbuckle again! Rollins gets the Swiss Superman in the ropes, kick to the gut, DDT!

Back body drop puts Cesaro on the floor, diving knee across his face, back inside, cover for two! Trading forearms for uppercuts as the Swiss Cyborg comes back to life, lefts and rights, stomping away, shoving his glove into his mouth, short-arm lariat... NOPE! Punting the glove into the “crowd”, charging corner uppercuts as the rally continues!

Snap scoop powerslam... NO GOOD! Up top, jockeying for position, Cesaro with a diving crossbody but Rollins rolls through into a lateral press for two! Sidestepping, elbow for an enzuigiri, rolling elbow sets up a Death Blow! Slow to capitalize, Seth gets lost in yelling at him but locks a double wristlock on!

Cesaro posts to his feet, kick blocks whatever he had planned, Falcon Arrow connects... HE DIDN’T DO THE DEAL! Black Magic follows it up, kick combo, off the ropes but Cesaro lays him out with a discus lariat! The giant swing follows it up, step-through, Sharpshooter applied in the middle of the ring!

Switching to an arm-trap crossface, rolling him right back into the middle of the ring, Seth with a cover for two but Cesaro kicks out and goes right back to the Sharpshooter! Breaking it briefly, he stomps Seth’s arm a few times but Rollins is able to counter...

Seth Rollins wins by pinfall with a small package.


Commentary tosses to the preshow panel for a bit of analysis.

Shayna Baszler is interviewed in Gorilla.

She says she doesn’t care what “that lunatic” Alexa Bliss has to say and tonight, the Queen of Spades ends this. Nia encourages Reginald and he goes to kiss Shayna’s hand for luck but she pops him in the mouth, which is really the only right way to react to THAT weirdness.

Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler

Bliss keeps her distance until Reginald gets on the apron for a distraction and Baszler lays her out with a lariat! Punches in the corner, stomping a proverbial mudhole, Alexa to her feet, sidestep the charge, big elbow and kicks back Shayna into the ropes! Double knees to the shoulder, standing somersault senton, only two!

Reggie backing away from her, terrified, Baszler attacks from behind and gets Bliss into the corner for strikes, big knee, Karelin lift, only two! Wrenching at her arm, working a backhammer, wrenching at the elbow, taking her down, stepping on her neck and never letting go of the wrist!

Stepping on her hand to set up the bicep stomp, Bliss rolls away in agony, Shayna returns to the wrist but Alexa’s fired up and demands she look at her. Penetrating stare, Baszler lets go, Bliss with forearms and a Lou Thesz Press into punches! Screaming, she snaps off a DDT... NOPE!

Alexa throwing a tantrum in the middle of the ring before calming herself and laying a vicious kick in. Off the ropes, dropkick sends Shayna to the floor, Reginald walks around to her while Nia Jax locks eyes with Alexa. Bliss raises her hand, Nia repeats her action, Reggie comes back to her and Alexa makes her slap Reginald!

Square Hammer DDT, Bliss goes up top to follow it up...

Alexa Bliss wins by pinfall with Twisted Bliss.


Commentary hypes up the WWE category at the Espys.

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

Trading punches out the gates, Owens rams him into the corner, windmilling punches, just beating the hell out of his former best friend. Whip across, senton connects, Kev having a little trouble breathing as Zayn goes to the floor. Catch a boot, hamstring kick and he throws Sami into the barricade and back inside!

Zayn turning it around, punches, both men needing to take a breather and KO lands a hard chop. Sami returning punches and boots, Owens gets him into the corner, cannonball for two! Action to the floor, tope con giro and Kev pays the price but he’s still in the fight! Back inside Zayn putting boots to him in the corner, punches on punches as Owens turtles up!

Desperate upkick gets an elbow drop and KO rolls to the floor in agony! Back inside, double leg into punches, Owens still has fight left in him, putting boots to him, to the floor again, Sami regains control and takes him back inside for the Blue Thunder Driver... NOPE! Kev wades in chops and forearms, Sami with a go-behind, Half & Half... STILL NO!

Roll to the floor, Zayn follows... STUNNER! HE BARELY BEATS THE COUNT! Hammering Sami with boots, he comes back with a kick to the boot, Owens is in the corner...

Sami Zayn wins by pinfall with the Helluva Kick.


Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley (c) (WWE Raw Women’s Championship)

Flair takes the title belt from referee Shawn Bennett before the bell and throws it at Ripley!

Bell rings, Charlotte with a schoolboy for two and a big boot follows! Ripley back in with an elbow, whip reversed, sidestep the charge and she drops Flair with a boot of her own! Charlotte gets her down in the corner and puts boots to her, choking her, reverse chinlock applied to try and grind her down.

Mat slam to break, Charlotte staying in control, pushing the champ into the corner and then clotheslining her to the floor! Big boot into the barricade, back inside, lateral presses fail to put Ripley away and Flair kicks her hamstring! Clubbing blows, leg pick, wrenching Rhea’s leg over the bottom rope!

Ripley sidesteps a knee drop to her knee, short-arm lariats connect, ripcord denied, duck some chops, she hammers the Queen with a headbutt! Charlotte pulling herself together on the apron, forearms into a heel hook through the ropes! Letting go at three, but Rhea nails her with a baseball slide!

I have to walk away for a second to try and help my wife deal with a scary bug and come back to Ripley having the inverted cloverleaf locked on! Flair slings her into the turnbuckle, Natural Selection... NOPE! Scoop, Ripley floats over, waistlock, back elbow, sidestep the boot, German suplex connects!

STO backbreaker / reverse STO into the turnbuckles combo counters a lariat, up top, moonsault, land on her feet, standing moonsault... NO GOOD! Leg pick, stomp to the hamstring, figure four attempt reversed into a small package for two! Duck the boot, elbow connects, Flair gets two!

Grounded elbows, hamstring kicks, spinning toehold, Ripley kicks her to the apron and Charlotte kicks her away from the apron! Up top, jockeying for position, Rhea hits a superplex! Cover... NO! Trading strikes, Riptide... FLAIR GETS A BOOT ON THE ROPES! Charlotte gets the figure four leglock, Rhea fighting, she rolls to the floor and breaks the hold!

On the floor, Ripley grabs the cover of the announce table and slings it into Flair’s face...

Charlotte Flair wins by disqualification.

Post-match they continue to brawl and Rhea Ripley stands tall with her title.

They jaw at each other.


Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE Championship Hell in a Cell Match)

Lashley holding his index finger up at a taciturn McIntyre before heading for the floor for plunder! Drew is right on him and throws him into the cage wall, grinding him into the steel! Double leg, ram into the steel, into the post, grabbing the steel steps but Bob cuts him off with a kick and he drops them!

Throwing McIntyre into the wall, choking him in the corner, Drew gets back to the steps and drops him with them! Hammering the champ with the steps again before tossing them aside, back inside, underhooks, Future Shock blocked but Drew just nails him with a big boot instead!

Ramming him into the corner, belly-to-belly suplex connects, Lashley to the floor and McIntyre whacks him with a kendo stick before hitting a White Russian Legsweep into the steel! Leaning a table against the cage wall, Bob has MVP’s cane and he hits Drew in the throat with it!

Lashley pressing the attack, putting McIntyre into the wall, getting up on the steps but Drew reverses and puts him into the post! Getting him up... AIR RAID CRASH ON THE STEPS! McIntyre rams him into the wall over and over, up on the steps again, Bob with a shot to the throat to get away from him!

Whip into the steel but Drew explodes on the rebound with a lariat! McIntyre throwing chairs into the ring, inverted Alabama Slam into the steel... NO GOOD! Up top, chair in hand, Lashley catches him but he can’t get the Hurt Lock! Into the turnbuckles, spinning spinebuster follows, Drew lifts him up again... LIGER BOMB CAN’T PUT THE ALL MIGHTY DOWN!

Bob to the floor, Drew following after, stomping, lifting the steel steps up... HE RAMS THEM RIGHT INTO LASHLEY’S FOREHEAD! Bob grabs the steps and uses them to ram McIntyre into the wall! Wailing on him with right hands, MVP getting in on the fun, helping Lashley trap him in the corner with a kendo stick.

Lighting him up with punches, the challenger defenseless, they let him free and reverse STO him on the floor! Back in the ring, setting up a chair... REVERSE STO INTO THE CHAIR! Bob goes out again looking for plunder and he comes up with a kendo stick. Back inside, Drew shrugs off the kendo stick shots, traps it, and lands a wicked headbutt!

Ramming the champ with a chair, but Lashley thumbs him in the eye, ducks his swing, and shoves him into referee Chad Patton! Drew puts Bob into the chair wedged in the corner, Future Shock, cover... AND DREW REALIZES THERE’S NO REFEREE! McIntyre tells referee Eddie Orengo to get in the cell, Bob wakes up... THE HURT LOCK IS ON!

McIntyre shrugs him off and then throws him across the ring, steel chair to the midsection and then across the back, Claymore connects, cover... ORENGO IS IN THE CAGE BUT SO IS MVP AND HE PULLS EDDIE OFF THE COUNT! Porter is locked in now and at Drew’s tender mercies! McIntyre shoves him into the cage, smashes him into the apron and the post, rolling him inside the ring.

Lying in wait... CLAYMORE TAKES MVP OUT! Lashley applies the Hurt Lock on the floor, Drew’s got nowhere to go but he manages to back Bob into the table leaned in the corner! McIntyre slowly putting himself back together, putting Lashley in the ring and climbing after him.

Spent, dragging the champion into the middle of the ring, chair in hand and he brings it down across Bob’s back! Lying in wait... Lashley ducks under the Claymore! Broken, back lacerated, Drew drags himself up on the apron and gets rammed into the post... CHOKESLAM OFF THE APRON AND THROUGH A TABLE TO THE FLOOR!

Back inside, Drew is down and out as the champion scouts out his next move, lying in wait but McIntyre sidesteps the spear! Backslide... CAN’T PUT LASHLEY DOWN! Headbutt follows, Drew hits Future Shock, lying in wait for him to rise... BUT MVP IS BACK ON HIS FEET AND TRIPS HIM UP! Schoolboy and a handful of tights...

Bobby Lashley wins by pinfall with a schoolboy pin and a handful of tights to retain the WWE Championship and bar Drew McIntyre from challenging him again for as long as he holds the title.

Lashley and MVP celebrate on the stage.
