Two matches, stipulation added to title match at WWE Hell in a Cell 2021

New, 11 comments

With the Roman Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio Universal title Hell in a Cell match (see how that turned out right here) moving from the pay-per-view (PPV) to this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, that left just four matches booked for the show this weekend. Naturally, then, SmackDown involved setting up a couple more — and adding a stipulation to another.

For starters, with the aforementioned Universal title match being moved, that left room for another Hell in a Cell match at the PPV. We’ll be getting that in the Bianca Belair vs. Bayley SmackDown women’s title match, as the former requested as much.

Elsewhere, Cesaro and Seth Rollins will look to finally settle their differences in a match while Sami Zayn’s endless antagonizing has driven Kevin Owens to the brink. His response was to demand Adam Pearce book them in a match, and that wish was granted.

Here’s the updated Hell in a Cell match card:

  • Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE championship Hell in a Cell match)
  • Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley (SmackDown women’s championship Hell in a Cell match)
  • Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair (Raw women’s championship)
  • Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler
  • Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins
  • Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
