Everybody now bring your family down to the riverside, look to the east to see where the fat stock hide. Behind four walls of stone the rich man sleeps, it’s time we put the flame torch to their keep, but first I have to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with Alexa Bliss welcoming us to her playground.

She says she’s gotten a lot of strongly worded complains about what Lilly did last week, and she only had good intentions when she welcomed Shayna Baszler onto the playground last week, but things got out of hand. She says she’s decided to put Lilly in time out even though Shayna got what she deserved.

Nia Jax rolls up and says Alexa’s gonna see Shayna at Hell in a Cell on Sunday before saying they used to be friends and she knows the real Bliss but regardless she needs to stop messing with her or her friends. Alexa tells her they were never friends, Jax offers to smack some sense into her, and proposes a match tonight.

Bliss mulls it over before crying and saying she didn’t mean to hurt anyone and asking Nia’s forgiveness before laughing and saying she’s just kidding and she accepts the match.

Commentary hypes up various matches for tonight.

Charlotte Flair is interviewed at Gorilla and says she didn’t need a match tonight but she needs her so-called loss to Nikki Cross to be removed from her record, so she’s gonna teach her a lesson.

Charlotte Flair vs. Nikki Cross

Circling, collar and elbow, Flair with a knee and a mat slam!

Rhea Ripley makes her entrance, Charlotte is distracted but manages to take Cross to the floor and beat her down to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Flair is in control, smashing Cross face-first into the mat before locking a reverse chinlock on. Nikki off the ropes, tilt-a-whirl into La Casita but Charlotte kicks out! Trading strikes, Flair busting out the chops and cutting Nikki down! Up in the turnbuckles, jockeying for position, Cross hits the tornado DDT!

Flair to the floor, she gets distracted by Ripley, referee Shaun Bennett counts...

Nikki Cross wins by countout.

Post-match, Rhea hits Riptide on Charlotte!

Backstage, Matt Riddle asks Jeff Hardy if he has any advice for being in a successful tag team. He says the most important thing is trust, and he should listen to Randy Orton, because he’s been here for a long time. Hardy opens his eyes, Riddle freaks out over his painted on eyespots, and then Orton rolls up.

Matt asks him what he thinks about Elton John for some reason but Randy tells him to listen to him out there tonight.

John Morrison makes his entrance and we go to break.

Jeff Hardy vs. John Morrison

Morrison hits Hardy with the Drip Stick before the bell and takes full advantage, lighting him up with strikes. Cartwheel lariat, Cedric Alexander’s music hits—

Enter Cedric Alexander.

Morrison still in control, leapfrog, roll back but Jeff drops the legs into a pin, only two! Axehandle, right hands, Hardy back in the fight, whip reversed, boots up on the charge. Jeff throws his towel at Miz, up top... WHISPER IN THE WIND ISN’T ENOUGH! John with a TKO over the ropes on the apron...

John Morrison wins by pinfall with Starship Pain.

Post-match, Cedric Alexander gets on the mic.

He wants to apologize to Jeff Hardy for last week, for not showing him the respect he deserves. He idolized him, and then he went back and watched their match and saw how he taunted and disrespected him, and all he could see was a man that he idolized his entire life being a sore winner.

So the only thing he’s sorry for is not kicking his disrespectful as into a retirement home.

Hardy gets on the mic and says if he’s apologizing for not sending him to a retirement home, he’ll retire if he can beat him right now.

And so we go to break.

Cedric Alexander vs. Jeff Hardy

Back in time for the bell, action to the floor, Hardy throws him back in and Alexander hits a dragon screw! Piper Niven wins by pinfall with a Michinoku Driver.

Post-match, Eva Marie gets on the mic and announces that she has won, without ever actually naming Piper.

We get footage from earlier today of Sexy Muscle Friends having a photoshoot and being distracted by noises.

They walk over and we see Tamina and Natalya training in a ring and they ask them to be quiet. The tag champs tell them if they put half as much effort into their wrestling as they did their looks, they’d be champions by now. Mandy Rose accuses them of getting by on their family names (which is kinda funny since neither of them use them in their WWE ring names) and a brawl breaks out.

New Day make their entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Drew McIntyre is interviewed.

He says from now on he’s going to call Bobby Lashley “Trashley” (classy, Drew) and puts over his opponent tonight, AJ Styles. He’s gonna need a brilliant strategy, and Scots are brilliant strategists. He’s gonna take a page from William Wallace’s book tonight and tells a story that has zero connection to his brilliant strategy for Hell in a Cell.

New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. RK-Bro (Matt Riddle & Randy Orton)

Riddle and Woods to start, intense action in the collar and elbow, Matt looking for an early sleeper but he gets rammed into the corner and Kingston makes the tag. New Day regroup on the floor and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Riddle and Woods jockeying for position in the turnbuckles, Orton makes the save! Inside cradle, Riddle nearly takes it, Pele Kick, tag to Woods, northern lights suplex into the bridge and Matt almost wins a second time! RK-Bro with a double-team powerbomb but Xavier kicks out!

Hanging DDT attempt, Kofi acts as counterbalance and Woods hits a gamengiri! Tag to Riddle, looking for a springboard German, Xavier slips under, electric chair, tag from Kingston... ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP / DOUBLE STOMP COMBO BUT RIDDLE KICKS OUT! A knee sends Kofi sprawling, the path is clear!

Fireman’s carry puts Orton in position for the tag, Woods with a schoolboy pin for two, Honor Roll countered...

We get a recap of our opening match, because Raw is three hours long.

Back from commercial, Asuka raining forearms down, Ripley kicks her off, boots up in the corner, throwing the Empress into the turnbuckles and setting her up top. Big right hands, climbing to join her, Asuka lands the missile dropkick! Alarm Clock knee, cover for two, running hip attack... NOPE!

Uraken follows it, big German suplex, basement dropkick, only two! Chest kicks, forearms, wheelbarrow blocked into the inverted cloverleaf! Asuka rolls through, Asuka Lock attempt, Rhea blocks, back elbows, back suplex blocked, duck a roundhouse, duck a backfist, pumphandle...

Rhea Ripley wins by pinfall with Riptide.

Post-match, Charlotte Flair attacks and beats Rhea down! Ripley recovers, it’s a brawl, referees and road agents swarm to break them up! At length they eventually break them up and Charlotte, nose bloodied, promises to kick Rhea’s ass.

Montel Vontavious Porter, Bobby Lashley, and their entourage are hanging out in the party room when an interview rolls up.

MVP berates the guy for asking questions and says the only thing the champ is concerned about is Hell in a Cell. Lashley gets up and takes the mic and promises to throw Drew’s lifeless body around in Hell in a Cell, and says that William Wallace is an apt comparison, because McIntyre has commited a capital offense and he’s going to publicly execute him and mount his head on a stake.

Alexa Bliss makes her entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of the brawl we just saw.

Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax

Bliss right in with leg kicks, a sleeper hold, Jax rams her into the corner and snapmares her off. Right back to the sleeper, Nia rams her right into the turnbuckle and trips her up, double knees to the leg! Kicks and forearms, off the ropes but Jax freight trains her down! Putting her in the corner, scooping her up into a slam!

Cobra Clutch applied, Alexa fades, Nia runs the ropes for the leg drop but Bliss sits up and dodges it! Snap roundhouse kick, shove to the corner, sidestep, headed up top, Reginald runs interference and Jax is able to shrug off the tornado DDT! Dropkick connects, Alexa with a basement DDT!

Bliss up top... Twisted Bliss but Reginald breaks it up...

Alexa Bliss wins by disqualification, presumably.

Post-match, Alexa stares Reggie down but decides to back off.

Montel Vontavious Porter is backstage with New Day.

They ask what he wants, and he says he doesn’t WANT anything, he just wants to chat about his offer from last week. Porter tries to blame New Day’s loss on Woods but Xavier says he needs to get home and put water in MVP’s mom’s dish. Kofi says he’s never gonna agree with Montel on this and he has to keep telling him that the reason for his success is his bond with his friends and brothers.

MVP wishes Kofi luck in his match at Hell in a Cell before mocking him for not having a match and leaving.

Elias makes his entrance to send us to break.

Elias vs. Jaxson Ryker

Right hands, whip, Elias with chops in the corner, Ryker turns him around and rams him into the turnbuckles a few times before tossing him aside. The match goes to a no-contest, at a guess.

Drew hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Lashley on the floor and we go to break!

Back from commercial and we’ve got the obligatory unannounced trios match!

AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, & Omos vs. Drew McIntyre & Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
