Triple H had some very bad answers on yesterday’s media call ahead of this weekend’s NXT TakeOver: In Your House event.
Some of those ill-advised answers involved equality and women’s wrestling. Triple H said that all the best women wrestlers in the world either work for WWE or want to work for WWE.
It’s true that some of the very best women wrestlers in the world do currently work for WWE. There is nothing inherently wrong with Triple H expressing how proud he is of the quality of women’s wrestling in his promotion. However, it can be easily proven false that all of the best female wrestlers in the world would like to work for WWE. All it takes is one counterexample.
That’s why Thunder Rosa responded to Triple H’s remarks with the following tweet:
The Best Female Wrestlers are not located in one company not even in one country . They are spread over many companies and many countries! Talented women across the Globe!

If Triple H is really arrogant enough to believe that WWE is the place where the very best women wrestlers in the world would all like to work, Rosa’s message serves as a good reminder that the WWE bubble is not the be-all and end-all when it comes to great women’s wrestling.
Yes, the WWE roster features plenty of terrific women wrestlers. But the greatness of a wrestler is not diminished in the slightest simply because she doesn’t want to work for Vince McMahon.
