Raw’s new booking strategy is to just throw everyone in group tag team matches

WWE has officially added two more matches to tomorrow night’s (May 10) episode of Raw. This will be the go-home episode prior to the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view, coming up on May 16.

It looks like the booking strategy here is to cram as many people into group tag team matches as possible. That includes an 8-man tag where AJ Styles, Omos, Elias, and Jaxson Ryker will team up to take on New Day and R-K-Bro.

There will also be a 6-woman tag team match where Charlotte Flair joins up with Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to battle Asuka, Mandy Rose, and Dana Brooke. The preview graphic for the women’s match also includes Reginald, so he will presumably be ringside for this bout.

I’m starting to think that maybe Teddy Long booked these matches before calling it a night at last week’s “Throwback” edition of SmackDown.

The main event of the episode is advertised as a non-title WrestleMania 37 rematch between Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

Are you hyped up to see group tag team action take over Raw?
