41 unique performers competed in a match on the main card of WrestleMania 37.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at which performers have currently wrestled on the most consecutive pay-per-view (PPV) events at the conclusion of April 2021. The only rules are that the superstar must have wrestled for more than zero seconds on the main card of the PPV (sorry, pre-show fans), and typical 24/7 title shenanigans will be ignored. For the purposes of this exercise, the two nights of WrestleMania 37 will not be treated as separate events.
Here are the active streaks coming out of this pay-per-view:
- 9 events - Roman Reigns
- 8 events - Drew McIntyre
- 7 events - Sasha Banks
- 6 events - Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler
- 5 events - Randy Orton
- 4 events - Belair, Bryan, Sheamus
- 2 events - Big E, Crews, Strowman, Rollins
- 1 event - Lashley, Kay, Carmella, Lana, Naomi, Morgan, Riott, Brooke, Rose, Tamina, Natalya, Cesaro, Kingston, Woods, Omos, Styles, Shane, Bunny, Priest, Morrison, Miz, Wyatt, Owens, Zayn, Riddle, Ripley, Asuka, Edge
And here are the streaks that ended at WrestleMania 37:
- 1 event - Elias, Nakamura, Bliss
With WrestleMania 37 spanning two nights and including zero pre-show matches, pretty much the entire list of active streaks coming out of Fastlane remained intact, with the exception of Elias, Nakamura, and Bliss.
Sasha Banks has mostly disappeared from WWE television in the aftermath of WrestleMania 37, and it doesn’t look like she will be booked on May 16’s WrestleMania Backlash card. Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Randy Orton, and Sheamus are also not currently advertised for the card, while Daniel Bryan is gone from WWE. That means quite a few names could disappear off the list of active streaks the next time it is updated.
What do you think about this list of active streaks, Cagesiders? Which wrestler is most likely to fall off the list at Wrestlemania Backlash?
