Jimmy Uso made his long-awaited return to WWE on tonight’s (May 7) Throwback edition of SmackDown. He was thrilled to reunite with his brother Jey, but shortly afterwards it became clear that he wasn’t going to fall in line behind Roman Reigns as the Tribal Chief.
In the final segment of the night, Jimmy explained that he hasn’t forgotten about what Roman Reigns did last year at Hell in a Cell. That’s when Roman forced Jey to say “I Quit” by brutalizing Jimmy.
Jimmy refused to acknowledge Roman, and he walked out of the ring. Jey ran out after him in an attempt to get his brother to change his mind.
With Roman left alone in the ring, Cesaro found the perfect time to appear out of nowhere and strike down the Universal champion. Jimmy wasn’t interested in returning to the ring to help Roman, so Jey ran back in by himself. The Swiss Superman put a beating on Jey too.
Jimmy had to protect his brother so he stormed the ring. Cesaro gladly welcomed him back to WWE with the Swiss Death uppercut. Cesaro followed that up with a Neutralizer on Jey, and then another Neutralizer on Roman. Cesaro looked like a total badass by leaving the entire family laying in the ring.
Roman Reigns suddenly has major problems on his hands, with Jimmy refusing to fall in line, and Cesaro challenging him for the Universal championship at WrestleMania Backlash on May 16.
