When last we saw The Miz on WWE programming, he was being devoured by a... Pack? Herd? Gaggle? ... whatever the right word is for a group of zombie lumberjacks at WrestleMania Backlash.
His partner John Morrison dedicated (then lost) a match to his fallen friend, while at the same time we heard Miz suffered an ACL tear, the first major injury of his wrestling career. Since then, he’s done some promotional work, but he hasn’t been seen on Raw - or commented on his knee.
We’ll see if he addresses any of that when he returns to television this Monday night (May 31). The A-Lister is hosting a Miz TV segment with Raw Women’s champ Rhea Ripley and her Hell in a Cell challenger Charlotte Flair.

I’m guessing we’ll get cheeky reference to his controversial fate at the last PPV before he slips into his usual instigator/host role. The bigger question is whether he’ll address the injury. If he’s on crutches or needs assistance walking, he’ll probably have to. If he doesn’t say anything, it could be a sign he doesn’t need surgery and will be back sooner than later.
We’ll find out in a couple days, on a show that will also feature Drew McIntyre & Kofi Kingston’s latest attempt to figure out who’ll face WWE champion Bobby Lashley at the June 20 PPV.
Awesome?
