Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley official for WWE Hell in a Cell 2021

Charlotte Flair spent the last two weeks campaigning for a shot at the Raw women’s championship by defeating former champion Asuka. This week, she set Rhea Ripley up for a match against Nikki Cross in a two-minute Beat-the-Clock Challenge that Ripley lost by not winning said match in the allotted time.

Add it all up and we’ve got a Raw women’s championship match!

Indeed, WWE announced during Monday Night Raw that Charlotte will challenge Ripley for the title at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sun., June 20, 2021, at the ThunderDome inside the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

Asuka looks to be well and truly out of the title picture now.

Ripley won the title at WrestleMania 37 and Flair returned from a brief absence shortly after to reestablish herself in the title picture. It’s been an up-and-down ride since then, and the booking for both has been strange to say the least, but here we are. It appears we have a heel program for the top women’s title on the red brand.

As of this writing, Ripley vs. Flair is the only match official for Hell in a Cell.
