It’s been a bit of bumpy ride for Toni Storm since she moved to NXT Prime full-time in October of last year. Especially recently, as the former Mae Young Classic winner and NXT UK champion’s failed to win the Women’s title twice, and has currently scuffling against recently signed talent.
All her struggle over the past month have been because of Zoey Stark. The hard-working WWE newcomer upset Storm on the TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night one pre-show, then paid her back for a beatdown by running interference so Zayda Ramier could do the same.
Toni was itching for pay back of her own in the rematch with Stark on the May 18 NXT. But when her usual Storm’s End finisher didn’t get three, it wasn’t clear if it would happen. Then she busted out this:
I’m not a movez expert, but... inverted hip toss brain buster?
Some are pointing out what BritWres veteran Dean Allmark calls his version (Allmark’s trained Storm and says he gave her permission to use a version of the move):

Either way, the skull emoji is bang on.
As for what Toni should call it... too bad Stormbreaker is taken. Storm Crash? Does anybody do anything called Lightning Strike?
