Nikki Cross was very excited to be a lumberjack on Raw

There was a time when we could argue whether former WWE Women’s Tag champ Nikki Cross was under or properly utilized.

In 2021, however, Cross has just flat out not been used. She beat Naomi on last week’s edition of Main Event (the show itself, not the last match on that or any other show), but that was only her third time wrestling on WWE programming this year. Before that, she’d lasted seven-ish minutes in the Royal Rumble, and then the next night on Raw took another loss to Alexa Bliss.

Outside of that? Cutting some pretty good promos on her social media.

Which explains why, when given the chance to join work as one of the non-zombified lumberjacks for Damian Priest and John Morrison’s third match in as many weeks last night, Cross was fired up! As the only woman out there, she even got a shout of from Corey Graves.

You’ve got to maximize those minutes. You never know when you’ll be on Raw again.
