WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021 results: What was Match of the Night?

WWE has put a bow tie around its WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view (PPV) from the ThunderDome at Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

The promotion wrapped up the show tonight (Sun., May 16, 2021) with Roman Reigns putting Cesaro down to retain the Universal championship, but only after a war. The Tribal Chief then watched as first Jey Uso, then Seth Rollins continued the assault on the Swiss Superman.

Was it the best match on the card?

The show also featured Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre & Drew McIntyre in a hoss fight for the ages, Bianca Belair & Rhea Ripley successfully defending the titles they won at WrestleMania 37, Rey & Dominik Mysterio becoming the first father/son Tag champs in WWE history, Ricochet stealing Sheamus’s hat, and zombies.
