NXT’s numbers continue to decline on Tuesdays

WWE.com

The ratings are in for May 11, and they continue to tell the same story for NXT.

And that story is that the show’s numbers without wrestling competition on Tuesdays are going to be similar to their numbers when they were going head-to-head against AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays.

Viewership fell another 8% last night, to 697,000. The rating dipped slightly from the week prior, to .17 in the 18 - 49 year old demographic. That dropped them down to 25th among cable originals on the night.

If there’s a silver lining, it’s that NXT isn’t doing significantly worse on Tuesdays than it was on Wednesdays. But that wasn’t what WWE and USA were hoping would happen.

Here’s a rundown of NXT viewership and rating in the 18-49 demo since the move to Tuesdays:

NXT’s loaded up the next two weeks with championship matches, but the last two weeks have had those too. The ones on May 18 and May 25 feature bigger names, though. We’ll see if they can help turn things around, or if this is just the black-and-gold brand’s level.
