Bobby Fish is back, but Undisputed ERA is still dead

New, 7 comments

We haven’t seen Adam Cole in anything but an interview segment since TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Roderick Strong officially handed General Manager William Regal his resignation last month and hasn’t been seen since. Kyle O’Reilly has vowed to forge his own path in the NXT singles scene.

But sometimes a guy still needs a hand. And when Pete Dunne joined Oney Lorcan for a beatdown after O’Reilly defeated Lorcan tonight (May 11), Kyle’s old friend Bobby Fish returned to help him fight off the numbers game.

This is the first we’ve seen of Fish since WarGames. The former NXT Tag champ needed surgery to repair his triceps after that December win. Now he’s back... but Undisputed ERA isn’t. Bobby said he knows KOR is doing his own thing, and he has scores of his own to settle.

What are they? It would make sense if they involved Lorcan & Dunne, since they were half of the team the ERA was battling when Fish was hurt. But the exchange between long-time partners felt somewhat ominous. Does Bobby have a hidden agenda? What’s his relationship with Cole or Strong like these days?

Stay tuned.
