Braun Strowman is definitely losing at WrestleMania Backlash

New, 2 comments

WrestleMania Backlash is coming up this Sunday, May 16, and the main event of the card is a triple threat match; Bobby Lashley will defend the WWE championship against Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman.

Considering that Lashley vs. McIntyre was a match that could have very well main evented WrestleMania 37, it’s logical to assume WWE wants to protect both men. McIntyre already lost at WrestleMania, so it wouldn’t be ideal for him to take another fall at Backlash. Meanwhile, Lashley is the All Mighty champion who I can’t recall being pinned going back to last summer. Nobody can beat this guy.

That leaves Braun Strowman as the obvious fall guy at Backlash.

With tonight’s (May 10) episode of Raw serving as the go home show for the pay-per-view, and Strowman very likely being pinned or submitting on Sunday, WWE made sure to book him like an unstoppable behemoth in the main event of this episode.

Lashley fought McIntyre in yet another WrestleMania 37 rematch. Just when it looked like Drew would win with the Claymore, Braun came out and caused a disqualification. He then proceeded to repeatedly powerslam both of his Backlash opponents, including a slam through the outside barricade on Bob.

Braun Strowman ripped off his shirt, roared, and stood tall as Raw went off the air, looking like a total badass.

Yeah, he’s definitely losing at WrestleMania Backlash.
