The Army of the Dead star has a plan for a possible WWE vs. the undead scenario

WWE.com

Like a lot of wrestling and/or genre film fans, the Cageside Seats team is anxiously awaiting the release of Dave Bautista’s next movie, Army of the Dead. Zack Snyder’s heist flick set in a zombie-ravaged Las Vegas looks wild, and Bautista’s quickly built a reputation as an actor who makes every project he’s involved in better.

We have to wait until at least Thurs., May 13 to see Army of the Dead in theaters, or the following Friday (May 21) for it to arrive on Netflix. But Dave is out doing press for the film now, and that means we’re getting crucial information.

Like which five wrestlers he would pick to go on a zombie heist with him.

My favorite part about the end of his interview with ComingSoon.net’s Tyler Treese is how ready Bautista is to answer this question. I like his squad’s chances, as he’s clearly given this some thought...

TT: I wanted to end with a fun question. If you were doing a zombie heist, what professional wrestlers would you like to bring? Are you bringing Titus O’Neil with you?

Bautista: Bring in Titus for sure. How many do I get to bring?

TT: Five.

Bautista: All right. So five right off the top of my head, I’m bringing Titus. He’s my number one guy. He’s my right-hand man. I’m bringing MVP. He’s my dude. He’s my soldier like that dude is, you know, he’s definitely coming with me ’cause he’s got everything that you need. I’m bringing Rey Mysterio because I believe Rey can do things that a lot of human beings are unable to do. I’m bringing Undertaker. ‘Cause Undertaker’s just a badass. I know we can depend on that dude. I’m also going to bring Big Show because if we need to sacrifice someone for zombies because obviously, you know, Big Show’s the guy. They will spend like days eating that guy. So we don’t have to worry about [it]. We know we got days to move around without zombies chasing us ’cause they’re going to be busy eating Big Show.

TT: Amazing.

Amazing, indeed.

Check out ComingSoon.net’s full talk with the man who would sacrifice Paul Wight so he, Titus, MVP, Rey & Taker could escape to whoop more zombie ass - right here.
