Back when we thought WrestleMania 36 was going to take place in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, Kevin Owens was dreaming of jumping off the venue’s pirate ship feature (there because Raymond James is the home of the local NFL franchise, the Buccaneers).
When COVID moved last year’s ‘Mania to the WWE Performance Center, KO made do by launching himself off the sign installed for the event. But now that the Showcase of the Immortals is headed back to the stadium in Tampa, Owens still might get his chance.
He’s booked for the show on Sun., April 11 against his old pal Sami Zayn. There’s a celebrity involved in their match - Logan Paul - which increases the likelihood the company will try to create a viral moment. And the other “most likely to jump off the pirate ship” performer, Shane McMahon, is taking part in a steel cage match.
And check it out! WWE is actually building a SECOND pirate ship at Raymond James!

We have faith in you Kevin! Even though Io Shirai does do it more gracefully...

Liking the look of Raymond James for tomorrow and Sunday? Think Owens is gonna pull off some kind of pirate ship-involved spot?
