MVP offers an update on his knee injury

MVP’s Instagram

Back in February, Montell Vontavious Porter suffered a leg injury while working a trios match on Raw.

He’s managed to stay on television, and look even more fantastic than usual by adding a cane to his already impeccable wardrobe. MVP’s done that by focusing on non-surgical treatment. But as he told WWE Español, he might not be able to avoid it much longer:

“As many of you know, my knee has been bothering me for some time now. I injured it a few months ago in the ring and while it’s better, it hasn’t healed yet. We’ve been trying to avoid surgery. We’re gonna try one more procedure and if it still doesn’t work, then I might have to get some minor arthroscopic surgery for the knee. But, not yet. We’re still gonna try another treatment first.”

The Hurt Business may sadly no longer be what it once was, but MVP is still a vital part of WWE champion Bobby Lashley’s presentation. Here’s hoping whatever path back to health Porter has to take, it allows him to stay by the Lashley’s side as much as possible.
