Jake Paul just made himself a whole lot of money with a boxing match against Ben Askren that had the entire Internet talking. It helped that Paul knocked Askren out in the first round, and folks were quick to rush to social media claiming the fix was in. Even Chris Jericho participated!
Now, his brother, Logan, fresh off an appearance at WrestleMania 37, where he took a Stunner from Kevin Owens, will be getting in a boxing ring to take on fellow former WrestleMania attraction and legitimate boxing great Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match.
They’ve been flirting with this for a while but it was just announced as official on Showtime pay-per-view on Sun., June 6, 2021, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
Paul has boxed just once in his entire life, a loss to fellow YouTube star KSI in 2019 while Mayweather has been retired since 2017, having never been defeated in 50 career professional fights.
An even match-up!
Paul is much bigger, so the workaround, per The Athletic, is that Mayweather can’t weigh in above 160-pounds while Paul can be no bigger than 190-pounds. Details beyond that are sparse.
The details hardly matter, though, let’s be honest. This is very much a spectacle the two promotional powerhouses will push to the moon with the same sort of tactics we’re used to in the pro wrestling sphere. They’ve worked to make both of these guys a lot of fame and money — hey, that’s why WWE came calling — and they’ll do the same here.
Look who claims he’ll be showing up:
I plan on doing a run-in either way. https://t.co/BbINYcLuUJ

This should be fun.
