Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and John Laurinaitis collectively apologized to James and said the person responsible has been fired. The rumor mill began buzzing about the fired WWE employee being a major name. It looks like that is indeed the case.
Wrestling Inc is reporting the following news:
Wrestling Inc. has learned that WWE has fired Senior Director of Talent Relations Mark Carrano.
As previously reported, former WWE Superstar Mickie James revealed that she received a black garbage bag with her belongings after being released by the company last week.
Triple H issued a statement on Twitter, stating that “person responsible for this inconsiderate action has been fired and is no longer with WWE.”
Carrano was the Senior Director of Talent Relations for several years, but his role changed when John Laurinaitis was hired last month to run the department. There was some speculation about Carrano’s job status in the aftermath of that hiring.
And now given the circumstances of the Mickie James trash bag story, Carrano is out of a WWE job altogether.
