NXT unveiled their new winged skull logo last week, but they waited until it’s second Tuesday night episode - and one show removed from their big TakeOver: Stand & Deliver event - to bust out their new intro package.
It features the black-and-gold brand’s unofficial mascot Poppy’s unreleased song “Say Cheese”, which she performed to open Night Two of Stand & Deliver. It’s mostly wrestler headshots, but once the melodic portion of the track ends and Poppy starts to RAWK, we get action shots.

Personally, I’d rate it as okay. But then I’m an old head who’s never loved any NXT intro or theme song since they ditched Coheed & Cambria’s “Welcome Home”.
We can try to read into who’s featured. Videos can be quickly edited, of course, but this gives the impression Io Shirai and Finn Bálor will be sticking on Tuesday nights for a while. It’s also our latest sign that the NXT United Kingdom champion seems to be calling NXT Prime home.
