Everyone in pro wrestling came away with a newfound respect for Bad Bunny following his performance at WrestleMania 37 in a tag team match alongside Damian Priest against The Miz & John Morrison. Bunny was actually asked to carry the majority of the match, considering Priest had been dealing with a back injury, and he delivered better than anyone could have possibly imagined, especially considering it was his first match.
Sure, that move is controversial for how much it relies on the guy taking it, in this case the uber talented John Morrison, who deserves a ton of credit for making sure it went as smoothly as it did. But it’s hugely impressive nonetheless.
Now, it’s even more impressive. That’s because Priest told Sportskeeda that Bad Bunny learned the move the day before the show:
“I remember I showed him a video, because he knew what the move was and I was trying to explain to him how to do it. And I’m actually like, ‘What do you think?’ He was like, ‘I don’t know man. WrestleMania’s tomorrow. You want me to do that?’ And I was like, ‘It’d be really sweet if you could.”
Really sweet ended up being an understatement.
Shout out to Bad Bunny for this one.
