Now two-time NXT champion Karrion Kross probably isn’t the first name that comes to mind when you think “who should retire John Cena?”
While it wouldn’t exactly be King Corbin ending Kurt Angle’s career, Kross isn’t on the level of a lot of fans’ favorite WWE retirement match stories like Shawn Michaels for Ric Flair or Undertaker for HBK. At 35 years old, he’s also not young enough to please folks who’d want to see Cena put over a future star on his way out the door to Hollywood.
Then there’s the question of whether Cena will ever hang up his jorts for good. He’s indicated he’s WWE for life, and a limited schedule would allow him to work short programs on-and-off for years if he wants. It’s entirely possible no one ever “retires” John Cena.
Still, Kross is willing to help put it out in the (WWE) universe:
I would be honored...

Cena, who’s as willing to use his Instagram to troll as he is to use his Twitter to motivate, is playing along...
And two can play at that game...
You watching the clock for a Kross/Cena showdown?
