Ronda Rousey has new opponents in mind for her return to WWE

WWE.com

Ronda Rousey’s last match in WWE occurred two years ago at WrestleMania 35. Since then, many pro wrestling fans have been wondering when “Rowdy” Ronda will make her return to the promotion. This topic heated up last week when WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that Rousey and Becky Lynch will return to WWE.

During an interview on Dvon Dudley’s Table Talk, Rousey said that she’ll eventually return to WWE, but she doesn’t know when:

“I don’t know. When I feel like it. I’ll come back when I feel like it. Eventually, when I feel like it. I don’t know.”

Later in the interview, after Rousey explained that she prefers to wrestle with big, strong women, she said it would be exciting to compete against the new Raw and SmackDown women’s champions:

“One person that I’m capable of doing almost the most with is Nia [Jax] because she’s really really strong, and I don’t have to worry about hurting her. I feel like I’ve had some great matches with her. I’m really glad that my first singles was with her...I really like having someone really strong that I could work with that I can use as a base but that can also base off me. I would love to work with Rhea Ripley...”

“Whenever I work with somebody, I think of like, what is it that I could do only with them and they could do only with me? I try to think of one thing that we could do that is entirely unique in our match, that only we could do. Which, I feel like there’s a lot of things that I can think of for me and Rhea. But, Bianca [Belair] too, honestly. They’re both really really strong chicks that I still feel like I could lift as well. So I think I would have the most options with them, and I’m just so glad there’s some new faces and blood coming into the division as well.”

Fans of Belair and Ripley might be treated to more main event matches for their favorites if WWE does pair them up with Rousey for her eventual return to the promotion. And fans of Alexa Bliss can be relieved that she doesn’t fit the description of the kind of wrestler who Rousey has her eyes on.

What matches do you hope to see whenever Ronda Rousey returns to WWE?
