Alexa Bliss explains turning on The Fiend at WrestleMania 37

Most of us were left confused by the opening match on night two of WrestleMania 37 this past weekend in Tampa, Florida. Alexa Bliss cost The Fiend his match against Randy Orton by distracting him with some black gunk running down her face as she reached out to him.

Thankfully, WWE actually bothered to have her explain it on Monday Night Raw this week.

Essentially, she was lost, The Fiend showed up and saved her, making her into something new and powerful, then he got burned to death, she was sad about him being gone at first but quickly realized she could still be new and powerful without him, and once he came back she decided to rid herself of him using what he taught her against him.

It would seem, then, she just straight up came in and took his whole gimmick. She does it better than he does, too!

Stay tuned for The Fiend’s response.
