WWE promised they were “back in business” with WrestleMania 37 tonight (April 10) at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Roughly 25,000 fans were in the building, the first crowd a main roster show’s had since the pandemic started more than a year ago.
They pulled out all the stops at the start, even bringing Chairman Vince McMahon out to welcome us all back to some semblance of normalcy. It was a very cool moment, and welcome after what the world’s been through over the past 13 months.
To open tonight's show, WWE Chairman @VinceMcMahon finally got to say what we've been waiting to hear...

Bebe Rexha sang “God Bless America”, fighter jets flew overhead, and we were off!
THANK YOU, @BebeRexha, and THANK YOU, @WWEUniverse.

Or so we thought.
Unfortunately, after a video package, instead of coming back to the entrances of Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley, it was Michael Cole telling us the weather that scared fans earlier in the afternoon was back. They promised we’ll start, but not as planned.
We’ll need to wait just a little bit longer to see the EPIC clash between @fightbobby and @DMcIntyreWWE for the #WWETitle at #WrestleMania! Action will resume when weather conditions permit. pic.twitter.com/LPPLVtjBlX
