The only real issue with holding WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and really any outdoor venue, is that the weather may not always cooperate. To that end, there’s rain in the forecast for the Tampa area tonight (Sat., April 10) which just so happens to be night one of the biggest WWE show of the year.
Fans had already arrived at the venue to be seated for the show, and those fans have been evacuated to the concourses while waiting for the weather to improve.

It’s bad enough to knock some stuff around:

The good news is that local weather reports indicate the storm should clear up as we get closer to the scheduled showtime of 8 pm ET for the main portion of the pay-per-view card. Rain itself wouldn’t be enough to force a delay but if lightning is near the stadium that would force one.
Stay tuned.
UPDATE: That was fast!
WEATHER UPDATE: lightning threat has passed, all parking and gates are back OPEN! Fans may return to their seats. Free parking at HCC is now closed. Thanks for being patient fans!
