What you talking about, Aleister Black?

Aleister Black hasn’t wrestled for WWE since Oct. 12, the night SmackDown selected him in the 2020 WWE Draft.

At that point, we’d already heard rounds of rumors about how his place on the card was in jeopardy after Paul Heyman’s tenure as Raw Executive Director ended, as Vince McMahon didn’t see anything in him. Then WWE released his wife Thea “Zelina Vega” Trinidad as she continued to work on third-party platforms like Twitch after the company banned their independent contractors from doing so.

Then yesterday, we got this...

Reports from January indicated WWE planned to bring Black back to SmackDown after letting “the waters kind of calm” following Trinidad’s release. Is this related to that?

Or is Aleister feeling more optimistic about his wrestling future after a colleague who was in a somewhat similar situation, Andrade, secured his release from WWE last week?

Will Black be telling his full color stories to us on FOX (or Peacock, I’d love to see him on NXT - Prime or UK) soon, or is Tommy End will be talking to us from another company?

Let us know what you think, Cagesiders.
