Yesterday (Mar. 22), Charlotte Flair shared with the world that she’d tested positive for COVID-19.
While it’s obvious far from the most important thing, the news did factor into something fans were already wondering - what the 12 time WWE Women’s champion’s status was for WrestleMania 37.
Around the time of her last television appearance on Mar. 1, reports - and the on-screen story - pointed to Flair challenging Asuka for the Raw Women’s title. WWE put their back-up plan for that into motion on last night’s Raw. But the length of time Charlotte’s been out, and the fact that this is The Queen we’re talking about, left some wondering if she could make it back to make that match a threeway, or find herself in another spot on the April 10 - 11 event in Tampa.
Tweets like this one, from her recently released fiancé Andrade, seemed like cause for hope in that regard...
4 more days, and you clear #mami I hope and go back to the wrestlemania poster. https://t.co/vi6AJrGwSl

But then about 12 hours later, Charlotte’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, dashed those hopes with his own tweet...
Praying For A Speedy Recovery! You’ve Set The Bar So High. WrestleMania Will Not Be The Same Without The Queen! @MsCharlotteWWE https://t.co/stcgxwLgsD

Again, the important thing here is that Charlotte get healthy, not whether she works her sixth straight ‘Mania.
But if you are wondering about the possibility of Flair appearing on the Grandest Stage of Them All, the men in her life aren’t interested in helping you figure it out.
