WWE Fastlane 2021 results: Banks & Belair lose, get their feud started proper

WWE opened the main card of tonight’s (Sun., Mar. 21, 2021) Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV) from the ThunderDome inside Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, live on Peacock, with WrestleMania 37 rivals Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair attempting to win the women’s tag team titles from the ever bickering duo of Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler.

The story going in was mostly about which of the teams would be able to get along enough to win and which of the two would break up.

You probably won’t be surprised to know it was the Royal Rumble winner and the woman she will challenge for the SmackDown women’s championship at the biggest show of the year in just three weeks who couldn’t stay on the same page.

Reginald was also there to get involved, though he didn’t play a part in the finish, which saw Banks yelling at Belair over something that wasn’t necessarily her fault leading to Sasha getting rolled up by Shayna to take the loss.

After, Banks called Belair a “rookie” and slapped her hard across the face.

See you in a few weeks on a much bigger show with something much more meaningful at stake!
