We still don’t know the status of the Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman match that was previously advertised for Fastlane and then yanked but we now know there will be at least seven matches on the card after this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
That’s because WWE announced the following match-ups:
- Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, which came to be after the former ran down Cesaro for not embracing the vision while promising to pay him back for swinging him 22 times before Nakamura showed up and told him to shut up. They threw down, and now they’ll get to do it again in an official match.
- Riddle vs. Mustafa Ali, which will act as the rubber match between the two for the United States championship. Ali was campaigning for this rematch after Monday Night Raw this week, and now he’s got it.
Here’s the updated Fastlane match card:
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Daniel Bryan for the Universal championship (with special guest enforcer Edge)
- Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental championship
- Alexa Bliss vs. Randy Orton
- Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus
- Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair for the women’s tag team championship
- Riddle (c) vs. Mustafa Ali for the United States championship
- Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
