Edge will be ‘special enforcer’ for Reigns vs. Bryan title match at Fastlane

WWE.com

In the main event of this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Edge wrestled his first match on the blue brand in over a decade, a fact commentary wouldn’t let you forget. He took on Jey Uso in a match with big implications for the upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view this Sun., Mar. 21, 2021, at the ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The winner of this match would become special guest enforcer for the Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan Universal championship match. The idea, of course, is that an Uso victory would give Reigns an edge while an Edge victory would ensure some measure of fairness.

Get ready for a fair match!

Maybe.

Indeed, while Uso had his moments, Edge hit a Spear clean and that was enough to earn him the three count and the victory. He’ll be the enforcer at Fastlane.

He paid for it immediately, as Reigns hit the scene to lay him out. Then, Bryan got laid out for good measure.

See you Sunday night!
