Braun Strowman has been raging agains the machine for some time now, but it really only heated up in recent weeks. It hasn’t yet come to head on Monday Night Raw, but we took one step closer on this week’s episode.
Strowman called out Adam Pearce and Shane McMahon over passing him up to be in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE championship and somehow ended up getting pushed into a tag team title match alongside Pearce.
Did we hear @shanemcmahon correctly? @BraunStrowman & @ScrapDaddyAP are going to team up to challenge for the #WWERaw #TagTeamTitles tonight?! pic.twitter.com/zTLkC32qpg

Yeah.
During said match, Strowman was cruising to victory, absolutely running through The Hurt Business’s Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, when McMahon interfered and demanded Braun tag Pearce into the match to get the pin on Benjamin. They took entirely took long arguing over it before Strowman finally followed orders and when Pearce when for the pin, Benjamin rolled him up and scored the three count to retain the Raw tag team titles.
Strowman, who promised to go after Pearce if he screwed this up, was furious. He vaguely threatened Shane O’Mac before storming off.
Tick tock.
