Edge won’t make a decision on his WrestleMania opponent until after Elimination Chamber

USA Network

After working every episode of WWE television last week, from Royal Rumble through Friday Night SmackDown, Edge, who won the Royal Rumble this year, still had yet to make a decision on which title he will challenge for at WrestleMania 37.

Naturally, he was back on Monday Night Raw this week with WWE promising an update.

Edge mentioned the fact that the Elimination Chamber announcement changed things just a bit, considering Drew McIntyre will be defending the WWE championship against Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Sheamus, and The Miz. It’s possible, then, that McIntyre will lose the title to one of those fellas and that could affect his decision.

With that in mind, his new plan is to simply wait for the Elimination Chamber event, which is scheduled for Feb. 21.

It’s not much of a wait, as that’s just two short weeks away, but it’s a wait nonetheless. But, hey, at least that means we won’t have to tune in to every episode of television over the next couple weeks to see if his decision comes then.
