No, Edge didn’t choose his WrestleMania 37 opponent on SmackDown either

We’re really doing this.

Edge won the men’s Royal Rumble this past Sunday night and the focus immediately turned to who he would choose as his opponent for WrestleMania 37 come April in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

First, he went to Monday Night Raw to tease possibly challenging Drew McIntyre for his WWE championship. He never made clear if he was going to do so.

Next, he went to NXT TV to tease possibly challenging Finn Balor for his NXT championship. He never made clear if he was going to do so.

Finally, he went to Friday Night SmackDown to tease possibly challenging Roman Reigns for his Universal championship. He never made clear if he was going to do so.

Reports indicate Edge will indeed be challenging Reigns but instead of his revealing that this week, we got this:

This ensures Edge can appear on every episode of WWE programming for as long as the promotion decides while teasing out his choice.
