Break out your kazoos, Edge & Christian are back!
We know the former is doing an “Adam Three Shows” thing this week after his Royal Rumble win as we await confirmation of which title he’ll challenge for at WrestleMania 37. The latter is playing it real cool about whether he’ll even wrestle again after his surprise return last Sunday, but reports say he will.
If he does, us fans are going to want to see the lifelong best friends from Ontario team-up again for some tag matches. Edge wants that to.
As he told Metro UK:
“I would love it! I think at some point that would need to happen -just because there’s so many opportunities there.
“Between Edge and Christian against The Usos – I mean, man! Edge and Christian against The New Day, Edge and Christian against Ziggler and Roode, Edge and Christian versus the Street Profits!
“Not for nothing, Edge and Christian versus Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. There’s some stuff there.”
That’s a good list. I’d throw in Cesaro and whoever he’s tagging with at the time, and a series with various combinations of Daniel Bryan, Chad Gable & Otis. And pretty much every team in NXT. That should be a good start.
