While much of the focus has been on Edge of late — and rightfully so, seeing as he’s likely headed for the main event of WrestleMania 37 — Christian made a big return of his own at the Royal Rumble this year. He did so after whipping himself into fantastic shape in the span of roughly five months, as Nutrition Solutions showcased here:
Sadly, he hasn’t been seen since then. He got clearance to return and get physical no different than Edge, despite both believing that would never happen again. To that end, Edge immediately started talking like we could see the two make a run as a tag team again while Big E talked up giving him an Intercontinental championship match.
For his part, Christian has remained coy on the matter, seemingly content with the Rumble being his last match if that ends up being the case. But come on now. He looks way too good and he’s far too charismatic — at a time when WWE needs some charisma — to be done now.
Please, Christian. For everyone’s sake.
