WWE Fastlane 2021 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Fastlane event set to take place on Sun., Mar. 21, 2021, at the ThunderDome inside Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. This will be the sixth show bearing the name and will be the final stop before WrestleMania 37 in April.

We’re just three weeks out from showtime and not a single match is official for the show.

There have been multiple hints of matches, however.

First, Daniel Bryan is trying to earn a Universal championship match against Roman Reigns. He’ll wrestle Jey Uso in a steel cage match on Friday Night SmackDown this week to determine that. The assumption is he will win and they’ll do a straight up singles match between the two but they’ve also mentioned Bryan teaming with Edge against Reigns and Uso, so that’s at least a possibility.

Elsewhere, Naomi & Lana are still owed a shot at the women’s tag team titles currently held by Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler. It would appear the champs are finally moving on from Asuka and Charlotte Flair and can fit the top contenders into their schedule.

Sticking with the tag team division, The Street Profits are chasing The Dirty Dawgs for the SmackDown tag team titles and could find themselves challenging for them back on an actual pay-per-view.

There’s also the matter of the WWE championship, The Miz, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre that will likely be addressed here as a follow up to this week’s title match on Monday Night Raw.

Stay tuned!
