As we suspected on Wednesday night (Feb. 23), Grizzled Young Veterans attack on 2021 Men’s Dusty Classic winners MSK means we won’t be getting two Tag title matches next week.
Zack Gibson’s chair work on Wes Lee’s hand landed the high flier on Matt Camp’s Injury Report. Lee is listed as having a break, and isn’t cleared for action. MSK had been announced as facing NXT Tag champs Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch on Mar. 3.
We’ll just have to make do with Raquel González & Dakota Kai challenging Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s tag belts next week. And MSK on the warpath against Dusty Cup runners-up GYV as soon as Wes is healed up.
Here’s Camp’s latest video, and the full list of what it covers:
- Kyle O’Reilly: herniated disc in neck; out 4 - 6 weeks
- Wes Lee: broken hand; not medically cleared
- Kacy Catanzaro: undiagnosed leg injury; not medically cleared
- Leon Ruff: aggravated back & neck injuries
