Bianca Belair’s WrestleMania decision, two tag matches set for SmackDown

WWE’s unveiled some information about the Elimination Chamber fallout edition of SmackDown, coming our way tonight (Feb. 26) from its usual 8 p.m. Eastern time slot on Fox.

The worst kept secret is sports entertainment is the main attraction. Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair has been on the cusp of announcing her decision to challenge SmackDown Women’s champion Sasha Banks a few times already. Now that their pursuit of the WWE Women’s Tag titles is over, she’s officially going to make her pick so we can start the build to WrestleMania 37. is trying to build suspense, but I think the fact The EST is making her announcement on SmackDown is probably a clue...

“With speculation at a fever pitch, will she select SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks on The Grandest Stage of Them All, a Superstar whom she has exchanged words and even teamed with in recent weeks? Might she pull a Charlotte Flair and select NXT Champion Io Shirai? Or does the up-and-coming Superstar think she is ready for Raw Women’s Champion Asuka?”

Two tag title matches are also on the slate. Street Profits have been trying to get a chance to reclaim the blue belts from Dirty Dawgs, but Sonya Deville is making them earn a shot at Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler. Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins will face Sami Zayn & King Corbin tonight.

And a week after Chad Gable convinced Otis to take a disqualification loss in order to beat Rey Mysterio up a whole lot, Rey & his son Dominik will lock up with the Alpha Academy duo once again.
