WWE announces Kyle O’Reilly is out 4 - 6 weeks

Kyle O’Reilly sold the attack by his former Undisputed ERA faction-mate Adam Cole so well last week, fans and fellow wrestlers were concerned for his health. But WWE clarified the situation, and got back to the story they were planning to tell all along.

That continued on the Feb. 24 episode of NXT. WWE told us not to expect to see KOR for a month to a month-and-a-half as a result of injuries he sustained due to Cole’s brainbuster on the steel steps.

This is, of course, to build drama for when O’Reilly will return to get revenge on Cole. But how long will they wait. I’m guessing it won’t be 4 - 6 weeks. But that probably depends on when the Panama City Playboy gets a big opportunity. It would be a shame if, say, KOR showed to cost Cole an NXT title match against Finn Bálor, wouldn’t it?

Or maybe Kyle will run-in when Adam Cole explains himself later tonight? Follow along with our live blog here and we’ll find out together.
