Yep, Karrion Kross messed up some cruiserweights

I was off by a week, but I’m still taking credit for this.

Okay, so by the time Scarlett left a tarot card for Santos Escobar, it was clear Karrion Kross wasn’t going to just let the Cruiserweight champions taunts slide. But once the Legado Del Fantasma frontman just smirked in Kross’ face when he was trying to be intimidating on last week’s episode, you knew it was on.

This week, General Manager William Regal booked Escobar vs. the former NXT champ for next Weds., Feb. 17. “Mr. Santos” sent his boys Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde to take Kross out.

It went about as well as you’d imagine...

So now those two dummies are on Matt Camp’s NXT Injury Report. Here’s this week’s video, and the full list of what it covers:

  • Candice LeRae: neck injury; day-to-day
  • Tommaso Ciampa: shoulder injury; medically cleared as tolerated
  • Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde: various injuries; medically cleared as tolerated
  • Kayden Carter: back injury; day-to-day
