WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 24

There was something I forgot to tell her then, between the kiss and “knock em dead, kid,” there will be no other like you. Now I can’t keep the guilt from my heart, these stuttering emotions keep me fixed to fall apart. I know I’m leaving all this sweat in our bed, and I have to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of last week’s show.

We get footage of Paul Heyman being interviewed by Kayla Braxton earlier today.

She says she’s just here to get his side of the story and Paul says he told Roman Reigns the truth, and a truth he didn’t want to hear at that, and because of that he got fired and smashed in the face, embarrassed in public. Kayla asks him if he regrets telling the truth and he says no, because his role as special counsel was to tell Roman these uncomfortable truths.

He talks about being kicked out of Roman’s locker room like he’s a rookie and reiterates his claim that Reigns needs to be protected from Brock Lesnar. He talks about maybe picking up and starting again before saying maybe he has to acknowledge that his career is, most likely, over.
