WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 14

Hide behind the door, we’ll live in holes and disused shafts, hopes for little more. I’m living in the ice age, and I’ll liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of last week’s Johnny Gargano / Grayson Waller angle.

We get “moments ago” footage of Grayson Waller arriving at the arena to a chorus of boos.

Cameron Grimes vs. Duke Hudson (No Holds Barred)

Grimes attacks Hudson early, putting a trash can on his head and Penalty Kicking it from the apron! Smashing him with a trash can lid, rolling him back inside, but Duke counters and smashes him with the lid right back! Putting boots to him in the corner, Cameron with a boot up, diving moonsault... NOPE!

Back to the floor, Hudson throws some plunder aside and snaps Grimes neck over the top rope! Slingshot back inside, German suplex connects, and Cameron heads to the floor to recuperate this time! Duke under the ring for a steel chair, Grimes fires back but a thumb to the eye stops him short!

Hudson has him up for the crucifix powerbomb but Cameron reverses to a Frankensteiner that puts him into the lexan barrier! Back inside, Grimes sets up a chair and goes for a Poetry in Motion lariat but Duke counters to a Rock Bottom through the chair and we go to break.

Back from commercial, jockeying for position in the turnbuckles with a poker table set up below, Grimes does a diving crossbody over the table and gets a deep two count! Cameron with roundhouse kicks, Hudson with a schoolboy, reversed to a victory roll, boot up in the corner but Duke crotches him!

Grimes with a superkick, Hudson catches him... POWERBOMB THROUGH THE POKER TABLE BUT REFEREE AJA PERERA WON’T COUNT IT ON THE BUSTED TABLE! He adjusts his pin and... SO CLOSE! Duke gets some clippers out from under the ring and grabs Cameron by the hair, but an upkick cuts him off before he gets any buzz!

Grimes with a Poison Frankensteiner, modified Cave-In...

Cameron Grimes wins by pinfall with a Cave-In through a chair.

Post-match, Grimes tears Hudson’s wig off and reveals his baldness!

Backstage, Cora Jade is interviewed.

She’s interrupted by Dakota Kai, who tries to warn her about teaming with Raquel Gonzalez, but Cora’s not having any of it and says she’ll be one step closer to the title.

Grayson Waller is walking backstage and being given a wide berth by everyone as we go to break.

Back from commercial, Briggs & Jensen get a video package of them tailgating with Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter and going to a concert and such.

Grayson Waller makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He basks in the “asshole!” chants and mocks Johnny Gargano’s speech from last week and says he overstayed his welcome. He runs some footage he filmed after his attack last week and says it gives him chills to see it again, but he wants to be realistic. Last week he cemented himself as THE NXT superstar, winning WarGames and ending a legend’s career.

And then he went and partied with celebrities this weekend, and what did we do? We complained about him online. (Well I had a lovely time visiting my girlfriends with my wife, pal.) He berates Vic Joseph and says he doesn’t need friends or family or fans, the only thing he needs to go to the top of this industry is Grayson Waller.

We get a recap of MSK meeting their shaman, Matt Riddle.

We go backstage with the Diamond Mine and Malcolm Bivens cuts a promo hyping up Bron Breakker vs. Roderick Strong for later tonight. Roddy steps up and says they’re gonna divide and conquer tonight, and he’s gonna take Bron out entirely on his own.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial we get a new episode of Lashing Out with Lash Legend.

She has two special guests for us this week and it’s Jacket Time.

Karen Q stumbles past in her pajamas and they thank Lash for having them, which leads her to talk up their fashion sense, which gets Ikemen Jiro to drop the “style strong” line. They talk about their feud with Grizzled Young Vets and say they’ll wipe the floor with them.

Amari Miller vs. Ivy Nile

Circling, collar and elbow, headlock takeover and Nile in control early. Miller reverses to a headscisssors but an unamused Ivy sits up and then reverses with the headstand. Go-behind, waistlock takedown, leg pick, Amari slips away each time! Whip blocked, step-up forearm shot to the kidneys keeps Nile on top of her!

Smashing her face into the turnbuckles, figure four headscissor in the corner, diving elbow drop into push-ups on Miller’s back! Front chancery, snap suplex, float over, schoolboy from Amari, crucifix, sunset flip but she can’t keep Ivy down! Backslide, roll through, reverse roundhouse, snapmare, back heel kick and Miller is still in the fight!

Shotgun dropkick, Nile fires back with a slam, a dropkick, waistlock, O’Connor roll right into a behind-the-back sleeper...

Ivy Nile wins by submission with a behind-the-back Dragon sleeper.

Xyon Quinn is interviewed backstage.

He calls out Elektra Lopez and says now that he knows the rules of the game she’s playing, game on.

Robert Stone rolls up to complain about a lack of respect.

Von Wagner rolls up and says he’s gonna smash ‘em and beat ‘em into the ground because he can, and if you have a problem with that, you can say it to his face.

Joe Gacy gives Harland a pep talk in the woods for some reason and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get another shaman vignette from Matt Riddle and MSK.

Riddle goes through their fanny pack and somehow pulls a whole-ass baseball bat out of it, as well as a traffic cone, the old spinner United States Championship, and says all this stuff is weighing them down and they have to focus on the tag titles if they want to get them back.

They ask how to clear their minds and let go, and Matt pulls a scooter out of the bag for each of them, and they ride off.

Guru Raaj vs. Harland

Harland in control early, slamming Raaj into the mat over and over again, scraping his forearm bones across his face...

Harland wins by pinfall with a slam.

Post-match, Gacy asks him if he feels better and Harland shakes his head before returning to poor fallen Guru and slamming his face into the mat a few more times! Joe manages to calm him down.

LA Knight is interviewed as he pulls up to the arena.

He mocks Grayson Waller at length and asks somebody to go find him for him.

Cora Jade makes her entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Joe Gacy is walking Harland out of the arena and down some steps, surrounded by a crush of referees, and he ends up throwing some poor crew member down the stairs!

Cora Jade vs. Dakota Kai

Kai with a big boot, whip to the corner, up and over, Jade with a whip across, another one, Cora with a rough tijeras, backslide for two! Dakota wrenches her bad arm through the turnbuckles, following it up with a Penalty Kick, no dice, back inside for a top wristlock!

Cover for two, stepover armbreaker into a kneeling armbar, then an old-fashioned sitdown cross armbar! Short armscissors, Jade barely fights out and throws elbows with the good arm! She trips Dakota up in the ropes and gets a breather while she comes back in! More elbows, off the ropes, tijeras into the corner!

Corner knee, slinging her off, perched up top, missile dropkick... NOPE! Kai with a Rock Bottom backbreaker, still just two, Dakota with a swinging inverted facelock facebuster, still just two, and Kai goes to the floor for a shovel! Referee Darryl Sharma takes it from her and Cora seizes her opening...

Cora Jade wins by pinfall with a schoolboy pin.

Post-match, Kai lays her out and stalks after her with the shovel, but Raquel Gonzalez makes the save!

The tag champs of Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin wearing a Jimmy Rave t-shirt in a lovely little memorial) make their entrance to distract Jade while Mandy Rose attacks from behind! She lays Jade out with Divorce Court!

Grayson Waller is walking around backstage again and he runs into Tiffany whatshername and Io Shirai, who both give him a piece of their minds, but he shrugs it off.

Tony D’Angelo makes his entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial we see Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai brawling in the parking lot.

Andre Chase vs. Tony D’Angelo

D’Angelo with a waistlock takedown, trying to grind Chase down, back elbow connects but Tony overpowers him and takes him corner to corner and smashes his face in! Whip reversed, Andre with a side headlock into a mat slam, mounted punches, D’Angelo fights back but Chase hits a side Russian legsweep for two!

Reverse chinlock applied, Tony stumbles around the ring and shrugs him off into the turnbuckles! Back body drop, front kick, body blows, half-halch suplex! Double leg takedown, rolling northern lights into a fisherman neckbreaker...

Tony D’Angelo wins by pinfall with a fisherman neckbreaker.

Post-match, Tony gets on the mic and says he did everything he promised he’d do and he’s head of the class now, and next he’s gonna smack that tea-and-crumpet goof Pete Dunne right in his mouth.

Enter Pete Dunne.

He says he wants to see if D’Angelo has the same energy face-to-face and slides in the ring. Tony tells him he’s got a face only a mother could love and he’s missing his mouthguard and he probably wants it back, huh? He’s happy to figure it out next week, but until then he’s got dealings with a guy to do.

Pete reaches out and wishbones his fingers and then heads to the steps and stomps the glass case and takes his mouthguard back!

We see Bron Breakker warming up when Grayson Waller rolls up and offers a fist bump. Bron tells him to get his stuff and leave because he’s not welcome in this locker room. Everybody else agrees and he leaves, saying real superstars get their own locker room anyway.

Boa makes his entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial we see Brian Kendrick being evaluated, and apparently he was the dude Harland chucked down the steps.

Boa vs. Edris Enofe

Off the ropes, drop down, Boa with a cradle suplex, cover for two. Cobra Clutch applied, Enofe gets to his feet but Boa hammers him with knees! Whip across, more knees, underhook suplex, only two! Reverse chinlock applied, clubbing blows, whip across, uppercut connects!

Edris goes under a kick, brawling in the corner, sidestep another kick, dropkick to the face! Enofe with a bridging fisherman suplex, off the top, right into a knee and then the throat spike! He lets go...

Boa wins by pinfall with a rolling solebutt.

Raquel Gonzalez paces angry in the locker room and cuts a promo about how she needs to end Dakota Kai.

Jacket Time make their entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we see Grayson Waller leaving with a girl in LA Knight’s car. As they pull away, we see Knight down and out on the pavement.

Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) vs. Jacket Time (Ikemen Jiro & KUSHIDA)

Drake and KUSHIDA to start, James evading but he gets caught in a ride and some slaps! Collar and elbow, KUSHIDA goes low with leg kicks, wristlock, tag to Jiro and he comes in with a diving chop to the arm! Quick tags, standing omoplata armbreaker! Off the ropes, Gibson trips KUSHIDA and Drake dives into a Russian legsweep on him!

Back inside, KUSHIDA reaching for the tag, GYV doing their damnedest to block, James with a hangman’s neckbreaker for a nearfall! Reverse chinlock applied, the Creed Brothers come to the stage, tag to Jiro and he comes in hot! Cleaning house, Jacket Time run double teams on Gibson, Hoverboard Lock applied but Zack rams him into the corner and Drake makes the save with a dropkick!

Gibson hoists him up with a suplex for two! Big wind-up punch, Vets end up on the floor and the Creeds charge in, giving Jacket Time a chance to dive on them! Tag to Jiro, up top...

Jacket Time win by pinfall with a Russian legsweep / senton atomico combination on James Drake.

Backstage, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams have a beat where they get a Dexter Lumis drawing of Lumis attacking Williams and we go to break.

Back from commercial, commentary hypes up a street fight between Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez for next week.

Bron Breakker vs. Roderick Strong

Collar and elbow, Strong with a leg pick into a front chancery but Breakker tosses him off as we see Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes watching from the crowd. Side headlock, shot off, shoulder block, Bron rolls through into a delayed vertical suplex!

To the floor, Roddy suplexes him into the announce desk and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Strong with a front chancery, Breakker powers up, right hands, Roddy boxes his ears, fireman’s carry into a double knee gutbuster! Taking him over into a Boston Crab, out of it, big spinebuster from Bron gets him some room! Off the ropes, pounce, lariat, pop-up drop, whip across, Frankensteiner!

Belly-to-belly suplex for two, Strong fires back with chops in the ropes, back-and-forth forearms, Olympic Slam... NOPE! Up top, jockeying for position, Roddy hits a superplex and follows it up with the Gibson Driver... STILL NO! Boot up, enzuigir, Bron is staggered but catches him into a slam when he goes for the knee!

The straps are down, goozle, military press...

Bron Breakker wins by pinfall with a military press powerslam.

Post-match, Tommaso Ciampa rolls up to hit the hanging DDT on Breakker!

That’s the show, folks.
